After the fall of the Roman Empire and the destruction of towns and cities, vast quantities of Roman Glass remained buried for hundreds of years until their excavation in later times.  Whilst buried in the ground, much of the glass became oxidised, producing the wonderful patina that create the myriad of colours that we now see.

Today, this collection of jewellery is inlaid with the same glass, delicately handled, cut and restored, passed on to us by the Ancient Romans - a piece of jewellery to last a lifetime.
